• Hash Buster or hash busting is random content typically confiqured in a word pattern, in either the Subject line, the From line, or beneath the legitimate text and is used to evade spam-detecting software (which looks for identical messages because each wave of posts appear unique and individual).

• Spammer hunting (spam hunter) is when you receive a piece of spam in the mail and instead of deleting it you track down who sent it and take action, usually resulting in a loss of account for the spammer.
