Css spam: exploits cascading style sheets (css), which are used to control the display of web pages, in order to conceal messages in spam. Spammers can also use css to recycle old html-based tricks which fool spam filters that do not understand css. A computer that has been implanted with open proxy software is called a zombie and can form part of a botnet used by spammers. Spammers use http in conjunction with their html-format e-mails for a variety of purposes.
